I have a fingerprient reader, the only made by Microsoft, and I cannot use it to log in on Windows Hello I didn't use it even on Windows 7. Is there anyone who can tell me what to do?

Kindly follow the below methods and check if it helps. Update the display drivers through Device manager. Update biometric drivers. Please follow the steps given here to uninstall and then reinstall the Display drivers.

Install the latest updates to the biometric drivers through Windows updates. The issue might be due to an application in-compatibility to run on Windows 10 Technical Preview. Install the software using the compatibility mode and check if that helps. Refer to the following link to know more about installing application in compatibility mode. The suggestion mentioned in the following link applicable to Windows 10 as well.

Have you checked the manufacturer website for updated drivers? When I bought it, Windows 7 was released for insiders and it didn't worked, but I didn't care so much, because I didn't had "Windows Hello" didn't exist at that moment.

I am very sure, many users will appreciate if someone will update this section, with 64bit drivers, including WIndows7 and 10 versions. Unfortunately, it looks like your specific fingerprint reader is not supported for Windows If you'd like to use the reader with Windows 10, you can try installing the Vista driver in compatibility mode. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
